A family's desperate escape to the countryside for a fresh start becomes a chaotic fight for survival when nature strikes back. 

When the stress of city life becomes unbearable, the Fontanas decide to buy a derelict farm and start over in nature. Gerry, an underpaid academic, and Ilaria, a traffic warden, pack up their lives with their teenage son and swap their cramped city flat for a crumbling farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. What follows– collapsed roofs, failed harvests, and a nature that refuses to cooperate– is rather less idyllic than the dream. 

Benvenuti in Campagna (Green Family) unfolds as a wry comedy of errors, shattering the myth that the grass is always greener on the other side.
