Many films explore life inside our own heads: a people-pleaser faces a dark being, and a mouse dreads going outside. Others bear witness to an unstable world, including an animated diary kept through years of war. Memory, loss and mortality run through strange, tender stories like a shop owner facing his end with the help of a moth. From Singapore, young filmmakers take on the guilt of sending a dog away and a wooden doll trapped in a loop of time. They hold their own beside the international selection.
