SGIFF Replay is a new pilot programme bringing a curated selection of films from the 2025 edition back to cinemas in partnership with Filmhouse. Running from 17 July to 8 August 2026, the programme establishes SGIFF’s off-season presence and the festival’s role in creating a sustained afterlife for titles that have not secured local theatrical distribution. SGIFF Replay will feature five films from SGIFF 2025 across 12 screenings, including Oscar-nominated French animated sci-fi film Arco, and Late Fame, an American drama film starring Willem Dafoe as a forgotten poet. The remaining titles are Japanese film Two Seasons, Two Strangers, adapted from renowned manga artist Yoshiharu Tsuge's short stories; Cambodian supernatural drama Becoming Human; and The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo, a coming-of-age film set in Chile during the AIDS epidemic.
